I am honored to be "home" as the principal of Mattawan High School. After serving as a teacher for 11 years (Indiana & Michigan) and the Assistant Principal at Gull Lake High School for 7 years, I am proud to have the opportunity to serve the community that I call home.  My wife (a Mattawan graduate) and I moved our family to Mattawan in 2012 after initially settling down in my home state of Indiana. My educational background includes a Bachelors Degree from Indiana University, a Masters Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Masters Certificate from Eastern Michigan University. 

 

I have a passion for creating a safe educational environment where all students have the opportunity to access a high quality educational experience. At Mattawan High School, we believe our families and the community play a significant role in helping us empower our students to reach their goals and develop into the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we will continue to build on an excellent educational foundation as we develop relationships with students and families to set the standard for a quality educational experience.
