Girls on the Run
Girls on the run is a national program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Enrollment is voluntary and all girls are eligible to participate, although the girls are selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mile Club
Students may choose to walk or jog on the track during lunch/recess. Miles walked are recorded and rewarded with a variety of incentives, including water bottles, frisbees, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other Later Elementary collectibles. Parents/guardians are always welcome to join their child and improve their fitness, too.
